Noeline commenced painting in 1972 with Mervyn Moriarty's Flying Arts School while she was living in Biloela. She attended workshops in painting at CIAE (now CQ University) and McGregor Summer School.

Noeline has an interest in textiles as well, completing an external course in Modern Batik Techniques (DDIAE) and workshops in Beginners Weaving (Brisbane) and Rag Rug Weaving ("Loomcraft" Glenfield, NSW).

After moving to Yeppoon in 1979 Noeline attended the annual Cooee Bay Artists Workshop with Bela Ivanyi and visiting tutors. Since 1996 Noeline has acted as coordinator of the Group. Noeline is currently President of Markmakers Contemporary Art Group.

Noeline is a contemporary landscape painter, working mainly with acrylic paint, but also using oils, pastels, gouache and mixed media.

Her work is colourful and active and reflects a varied use of techniques. Although representation, she likes her work to absorb the feeling and atmosphere of the landscape.

Noeline’s work (painting, Batik and textiles) has won Prizes and Commendations throughout Queensland and her work is represented in regional and private collections in Australia and overseas.
