Maaret Sinkko

Maaret commenced exhibiting in 2003 as an emerging artist. In recent years she has explored printmaking techniques. The goose permeates her work as it "signifies my own journey and the capacity to undertake a great life quest". She describes the various techniques she is learning as a "lifetime of opportunities" in terms of medium, application, colour and technique.

Maaret was born in Brisbane in 1965 to Finnish parents and is a first generation Australian.
