Kerry O'Brien
Kerry was born in Norfolk, England.
A love of art started early at school (art, being one of her better subjects). She attended Art College, studying A Level Art in the evenings, whilst also training to be a hairdresser.
Hairdressing gave Kerry the opportunity to work on cruise liners and to travel.
Her desire to paint was rekindled after marrying and moving to Australia in 2000.
She attended water colour classes at Emu Park and it has become her passion and she tastes the desire to paint daily, given time.
Her inspiration comes from the natural surroundings that are in Yeppoon i.e. the beach, flowers and trees.
Kerry first exhibited her work in the inaugural NorthWind Emerging Artist Exhibition May 2003.
Since then she has become a member of The Mill Arts Collective and has been involved in a number of members shared exhibitions and four shared Exhibitions with her friend Maaret Sinkko.
